North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks Names Clerk of the Year
At the 2020 NC Association of Municipal Clerks Annual Conference, Sabrena Reinhardt, CMC, MMC, was named the NCAMC Clerk of the Year.
Sabrena is currently the Administrative Manager/Town Clerk for the Town of Leland and has served for 7 years as clerk. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with her husband Bill and son Maximus. She said she enjoys being a clerk because she enjoys helping people and serving the community.
Sabrena earned her Associates of Applied Science in Marketing from Westchester Community College in New York. She decided to become a clerk because she was interested to learn more about municipal services.
When asked how it feels to be named Clerk of the Year Sabrena said, “Clerks are an essential element in each municipality within the state. Depending on the size of the municipality, the clerk offers services to the community and is usually referred to as the ‘cog’ because the clerk usually has the answer or will know where to find the answer. I am truly honored to be given this recognition amongst my fellow clerks.”
