North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks Names Honorary Clerk

 

Tammie Drake, CMC, MMC was named as an Honorary Clerk at the NCAMC Annual Conference in August. She retired from the City of Hendersonville after serving 25 years as a clerk. During her time as Clerk, Tammie worked for four Mayors, seventeen Council Members, one Interim City Manager, and three City Managers.

Tammie is an active member of International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) and has been granted the Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) designation. She has served on the Membership, Clerk of the Year and Certification Committees for NCAMC. In addition, she has served as co- host for NCAMC Annual Conferences, served on site selection committees for the Annual Conference, and hosted a Regional MMC Academy. She regularly attends NCAMC and IIMC regional meetings, annual conferences and workshops.
