Leadership

Some of the traditional words and phrases that come to mind when we hear and see the word "leader" include: visionary, honest, ethical, committed, trustworthy, hard worker, and catalyst. The North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks (NCAMC) considers its leaders as visionary municipal clerks who boldly accept the great honor and challenge to implement and carry out the mission, goals and activities of the organization as a whole for the betterment of municipal clerks across the state.

The NCAMC leadership is comprised of elected officers and a board of directors, and at least quarterly these officers and directors meet to carry out the business of the Association. The NCAMC president appoints volunteers from the NCAMC membership to serve on standing and special committees. Annually, it takes more than 100 volunteers in the NCAMC to boldly accept the challenge to lead this Association.
